About the event

Over the past few months, Cheshire Agricultural Chaplaincy has been collaborating with the charity Pwrpas to explore how we can best support our agricultural communities. While we remain dedicated to being there during crisis, we want to also focus on building resilience and confidence from the ground up. Together, we aim to enhance mental health and reduce the associated stigma.

Just like our physical health, mental health is crucial and interconnected. Join us in our upcoming training session designed to raise awareness of mental health, and how to have confident conversations to help support others as well as how to build our own resilience and confidence.

It builds on the simple truth that we all have mental health; it will empower attendees with confidence to know what to say and what not to say as well as what to do with what is said to keep other people safe and supported.

Also, understanding the importance of looking after our personal wellbeing and how to manage stress to make us more resilient.

Let us work together to ensure that every farmer, agricultural worker, their partners, family, and ancillary ag trades feels strong and supported, both mentally and physically.

Session led by Sean Liddell MHFA, Mindful Training Ltd and supported by members of the agchap team.
